Meet our founder

Find out more about our founder Elisabeth Eweka and how you can get involved in the global movement to inspire and empower the next generation of women and girls in engineering and STEM.

About Elisabeth - Founder of ENGRL

Elisabeth Eweka is an award-winning engineer, digital consultant, and STEM advocate reshaping how young people see engineering. With a background in Design Engineering (BEng) and Engineering for International Development (MSc), she blends technical expertise with modern, culturally relevant STEM communication.

After several years working in building services engineering, Elisabeth recognised a clear gap: girls weren’t choosing engineering - not because of ability, but because the content simply wasn’t created with them in mind.

Founded by Elisabeth in 2024, ENGRL is now a global platform dedicated to inspiring the next generation of girls in engineering. With industry experience and a fast-growing community of 150,000+ followers across 60+ countries, reaching millions monthly, she brings a powerful mix of engineering insight, creativity, and cultural understanding to the future of STEM education.

Alongside leading ENGRL, Elisabeth works as a Principal Digital Consultant, specialising in intelligent buildings, user-centred design, and technology strategy - expertise that shapes ENGRL’s practical, real-world approach to STEM storytelling.

ENGRL exists to inspire, educate, and empower the next generation of engineers - to redefine what an engineer looks like, elevate women and girls in STEM, and make engineering a space where everyone belongs.
