Who We Are

ENGRL - Girls in Engineering - is a global social enterprise dedicated to making engineering visible, accessible, and exciting for the next generation of girls. Our name is a blend of 'ENGR' (engineer) and 'GRL' (girl), and it reflects exactly who we're here for. Globally, only 16.5% of the engineering workforce is women. Not because girls lack the ability - but because they often lack the access, the visibility, and the role models to see engineering as something for them. That's where we come in.

What We Do

We support you through every stage of your engineering journey - from the moment you first hear the word "engineering," to the moment you land your first role. Our work is built around three pillars.

• Education: Making engineering visible, accessible, and exciting from the moment you start exploring. Social media content, engineering guides, school and university outreach, and our website's knowledge hub - all built to meet you where you are, and show you what's possible long before a textbook ever could.

• Community: A space to find other girls in engineering, learn from them, and grow together. Role models, inspirational stories, peer mentorship, group chats with 1,000+ girls, and live events - because no girl should feel like the only one in the room.

• Support: The bridge between education and career. Career guidance, internships, job opportunities, our scholarship programme, and partnerships with leading companies - the practical tools to turn interest into a career.
